My New Favorite Accessory (5 Reasons You Need a JORD Wooden Watch)
Obviously this is not my typical interior décor or styling post, but I am SO excited to share my new favorite watch with you all!! It’s a wooden watch (yes, WOOD) from JORD. If you follow any bloggers on Instagram, chances are you’ve seen these watches. I’ve seen them on all my favorite accounts and have always loved their unique style! I was pretty pumped when the kind people over at JORD decided to welcome me on board their team and participate in this summer campaign!
I chose the Cassia style in Zebra & Ivory – and this watch coordinates with literally EVERY outfit! Before I go on and list my reasons why you need a JORD watch, I want to point out that they also offers men’s watches – which are equally as cool! Luke actually wanted me to pick a watch for him for this campaign, but I informed him that (A.) I want it, so NO :-) and (B.) that would require him modeling for me and he HATES having his photo taken more than he hates when I come home from Target with 17 new throw pillows… sooo maybe I’ll just get him one for his birthday instead!

1.) Unique. When is the last time you saw someone wearing a wooden watch?? They manage to have a unique look to them while still remaining totally classic.
2.) Versatile. You can wear these watches with jeans and flip flops OR a fancy dress and heels! The wood band is also neutral enough to coordinate with pretty much any color!
3.) Comfortable. There’s nothing worse than wanting to wear a watch every day only to have to take it off once you sit down in front of your computer because it’s SO uncomfortable to type with. This watch is so lightweight and comfortable; I seriously forget I’m wearing it!
4.) On Trend. Fashion and home décor can definitely go hand in hand! Fringe, tassels, and pom poms are a few that come to mind when thinking of décor trends that found their way onto clothing and accessories! Natural elements and textures are trending big time right now in home décor, so it’s only a matter of time before other watch designers jump on this trend!
5.) You Can Engrave It. I already mentioned that I would love to gift one of the men’s watches to my husband, but JORD also offers an engraving service! How perfect would this be for pretty much anyone in your life?? You can have something lovey-dovey engraved, or maybe an inside joke?! (LAC I LOVE YOU MER!) ;-) The options are endless!
